Earlier this month Mars Wrigley said it was removing Bounty bars from some Celebrations tubs because 40% of people hated the coconut-flavoured treat.
A spokesperson for Mondelez, which owns Cadbury's, said: "We're facing the same challenges that many other food companies have reported in recent months," citing supply chain disruptions.To ensure we can continue to bring our loyal consumers the products they know and love, we have temporarily substituted bitesize Cadbury Twirl in Heroes Tubs, to the slightly larger Cadbury Twirl 21g across a small percentage of tubs produced," the spokesperson added.
One confused user, @Andy92rew, wrote on Twitter: "Excuse me. Why is there a normal size Twirl in my box of Heroes!?"
"Twirl clearly has escaped from other friends," tweeted @SazSazzle when she found her full sized bars in the chocolate tub.
"Rest assured consumers can enjoy the same amount of chocolate as before with the overall weight of the product remaining the same," the spokesperson from Mondelez confirmed, after people began noticing the substitution.

The Blipblox is a curious, entrancing, and unique device. It’s essentially a kind of groovebox, yet you might just as well call it an infinity machine, because music pours out of it ceaselessly. The source of the sound is an onboard synth paired with a sequencer (that is, a device that plays back patterns of notes, in this case a constantly shifting series of pre-programmed ones); you manipulate the sound via a bevy of colorful knobs and levers that positively beg to be turned, twisted, pushed, and pulled, while drum settings let you add kick, snare, or beatbox patterns. Diagrammed arrows sketch out certain possibilities lurking within the signal chain, but they might as well be the dotted lines on a pirate’s map: Tap this, yoink on that, and see what happens. The makers have intentionally left the machine’s functions cryptic. Features like filter, waveform, and envelope shape—the basic building blocks of synthesis—remain unlabeled; this is a machine you learn by touch, not by reading the manual.
Blipblox has its limitations. You can’t alter the preset sequences, and there’s no on-board keyboard to allow you to play notes. (You can, however, attach a keyboard controller via MIDI, the software protocol that allows electronic instruments to communicate data like tempo and pitch.) But there’s a reason for those design decisions: By keeping the sound flowing, it encourages hands-on play, rather than long pauses between hunting and pecking. Ultimately, the Blipblox may be more a toy than a bona fide musical instrument, but it can reward hours of exploratory play while teaching some of the elementary principles of basic (and not-so-basic!) synthesis. And the flashing lights will give kids the thrill of sitting at the helm of a spaceship.

When choosing a contract manufacturing supplier for your product, you may have come across acronyms such as OEM, ODM, and CM. These three acronyms each stand for a type of outsourced manufacturing business model – and the differences between the different models (primarily related to product design responsibilities) can significantly impact your choice of a full-service contract manufacturer. Each of them— OEM, ODM, or CM — lets you exert a different level of agency over manufacturing, and each has its strengths and weaknesses. To continue with the example above, in case the customer wanted to create an entirely new design of kitchen blender (shape, function, technical specs), they would pay a supplier with a background in kitchen appliances with experience in manufacturing blenders, to open new tooling and develop a new model owned by themselves. This would be an OEM project ("What is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)?”).
Contract Manufacturer (CM)– in contract manufacturing, the customer has full ownership of the design and BOM, and the manufacturer is solely responsible for manufacturing to the customer’s drawings and requirements, not for the product design or development. Pure contract manufacturers do not have their own product range or specific, narrow product specialities – rather than having their own products they market, they focus on providing a service – manufacturing, and providing products to customers in a wide range of categories. In this case, the IP clearly belongs to the customer, as they are the ones conducting product design, development, and evaluation. The thick, stuffed back-pocket wallet has a name, and it’s not a kind one: "The Costanza Wallet," named for George Costanza on the TV show "Seinfeld" who famously carried a receipt-coupon-napkin-stuffed billfold that eventually exploded.
It didn’t take long into this assignment, tasked with looking at 11 varying styles of slim wallets, that I became convinced that I have been carrying an excessive load in my back pocket (another mistake, but we’ll get to that) for far too long. What's a Slim Wallet?
For the purposes of these reviews, we looked at wallets that either rethink the idea of a traditional bifold or trifold wallet into a completely new form—such as aluminum cardholders and wallets that are basically two pieces of metal held together with a strap—or that offer the traditional leather wallet experience in a slimmed-down, smaller, and lighter form.
Nearly all the wallets have some sort of RFID protection, a security feature meant to protect your tap-to-use credit cards or passport from wireless hacking.
What we didn’t review was wallets that double as smartphone cases or accessories. There’s a whole market of wraparound phone carriers that include card compartments and other wallet features or ones that piggyback onto your phone, such as Apple’s MagSafe wallet. I stuck to stand-alone wallets in these reviews.
Three wallets I tried have the cardholder form factor, where a lever or switch pops a set of credit cards out from the top, ideally arrayed in a fan so that you can quickly grab the one you need. Unlike the popular Secrid and the ultra-low-priced Vulkit, however, Ekster’s Senate Cardholder features a design that keeps that pop-up switch level with the aluminum cardholder. It doesn’t jut out of the bottom as the switch does on the Secrid and Vulkit, making them more likely to catch a loose thread in your pocket or the edge of the pocket itself. The Ekster also includes a very elegant-looking cash strap and single cardholder to hold your bills on the outside with the company’s logo emblazoned on the front and keep a card on the outside, such as a Metro card for tap-to-go. Thoughtfully, the company includes an extra strap without the cardholder, to slim things down even further, inside a very beautiful box. The cardholder comes with several user-friendly heavy cardstock infocards, including a QR code for the user manual, the company’s story, and a 10 percent discount code to give to a friend. The pricing puts this right between those other cardholder options, but the overall design and exquisite packaging makes it my top choice, especially at a discounted price of $63 on the company’s website.

And then you could use the multimeter and find out which power supply failed. If all of components are not working, the problem should be the power cable. Plug it off and then plug it back and try. You could also use a new cable to replace the old cable and try. But if each panel only has one power supply, we are not sure if the problem is from the power supply or from the power cable. Normally, the power supply has higher potential to get damaged than power cable. So we should always check the power supply first. We could use a new power supply to replace the old one and see if the problem is from the power supply or not.
If it is not the power cable or power supply problem, then you should check the receiving card or the signal cable from the connector to receiving card. Try to replace both with new spares and test.
For this kind of problem, most of the time it is the power supply problem or the signal cable problem. Sometimes the cable quality or power supply quality doesn't seem important as they look like just small components. But in fact, they are very important. Houston firefighters received Level IIIA body armor and ballistic helmets.
"Unfortunately it’s a sign of the times we live in," Mann said. "This ballistic protection will allow us to get into those scenes, those wound zones, a little quicker to afford us some protection before the scene is stabilized to get in there and stop the dying."
The faster firefighters respond, the better their chances of saving a life. When she was 16, she was sent to be a concubine. This means that she had sex with the emperor at his request. It meant she would live in the royal courts and have sex with the emperor along with maybe hundreds of other women. It also meant that her life was in Emperor Xianfeng's hands, and she might die at any time if he was displeased.
She quickly became one of the favorites of the Emperor. He had an Empress, his official "wife," but Cixi had a son by him.
In 1860, British and French troops attacked Beijing with a comparatively small force. Emperor Xianfeng fled with Cixi, and the army destroyed the Imperial Summer Palace.It is said that when the Emperor Xianfeng heard of this, he fell into a depression, turned heavily to alcohol and drugs, and became seriously ill.
When he was dying in 1861, he named eight regents for his five year old son who was to be the emperor when he died. He also wanted Cixi (his son's mother) and his Empress to help his son. Being the boy emperor's mother gave her some real power in the court. She was about 26 years old then.
Cixi was an honorific name meaning 'Kind Joy' given to her when Emperor Xianfeng died and she became the regent with her young son as emperor. It is said that at birth, she was called Yu Lan or 'Little Orchid', however her true name remains unconfirmed.
She had come to power in a world where poisonings and assassinations were common. It was either kill or be killed. Somehow, for some reason, the Empress made Cixi a co-Empress. So she gained even more power. What followed after this were various plots and assassinations. Somehow, she ruled the empire from behind the screens during the reigns of two emperors.

"There is a tremendous amount of kinetic energy that can be harvested in cattle's daily movements, such as walking, running, and even neck movement," says co-author Yajia Pan, also an energy researcher at Southwest Jiaotong University.Once captured, the energy is stored in a lithium battery and used to power the device.

Zhang and his colleagues also tested the devices on humans and found that a light jog was enough to power temperature measurement in the device. The researchers see future applications in sports monitoring, healthcare, smart home, and the construction of human wireless sensor networks.
"Kinetic energy is everywhere in the environment -- leaves swaying in the wind, the movement of people and animals, the undulation of waves, the rotation of the earth -- these phenomena all contain a lot of kinetic energy," says Zhang, "We shouldn't let this energy go to waste."

NoMythic is Going to the Robotics World Championships

Our robot performed well, and we scored in twelfth place by the time we were paired with other teams, when, with our alliance, we got to the quarterfinal matches!
The awards ceremony was very eventful. Phoebe Kirchner, our team captain, won the well-deserved Dean’s list finalist award! She was recognized for her commitment to creating a welcoming team environment and culture. We are so incredibly proud of her, and we would like to thank her for her incredible amount of work done to the team and its culture.
We are delighted to say that NoMythic will be going to the FIRST robotics world championships in Houston, Texas this year. We were awarded the Engineering Inspiration award, which gives us the opportunity to go to worlds, with our entry fee paid for by NASA.
Though our entry fee is provided, we still have a lot of other things to account for as we prepare for our trip. Transportation, hotels and rooming, and food are all incredibly important things to consider, and all of the aforementioned cost money. All in all, we are expecting the trip will cost us around $27,000.
